In Saturday’s edition of Red Matchday we remember former Aberdeen Manager Billy McNeill.

The retro programme cover, designed by Dolly Digital, is inspired from the 1977/78 season, the one year Billy took charge of the Dons.

As well as looking back at that season in depth, the AFC Former Players Association have spoken to many of the players who were involved at the club around that time.

Amongst others there are memories and stories from the likes of Neil Simpson, Willie Miller, John McMaster, Bobby Clark, Willie Garner, Joe Harper, Martin Buchan and Alex McLeish. AFC Director Craig Brown also written his own special tribute.

Plus, all the usual features including columns from Rachel Corsie and Ally Begg, Q&A with Dean Campbell and an interview with man of the moment Joe Lewis.
