“It is a disappointed dressing room.
“Any time you lose you are disappointed but especially in the manner which we did tonight.
“I think we have defended well for most of the game but lost it with one set piece. That is very disappointing. It is not like us.
“You know coming to Celtic that if you give them one chance, even half a chance, it can be the difference in the game. So it is very disappointing as that moment (the free kick) was the only difference in the game.
“We felt as though we played well for most of the match and contained them. We were very disciplined. We limited them to a few chances before the goal. After the goal the game got a bit stretched and they had a few more chances after that.
“We came down here and frustrated them and did not let them get on top during the game. I thought when we had the chance to get at them we broke well but we were a bit wasteful in the final third. I don’t think we worked Craig Gordon enough and our set play ball was disappointing.
“For their goal, it was a good ball into the area and there is a lot of pace on it but we should be defending it better.
“There is a fine margin between losing and getting a draw and that is what has happened to us tonight.
“Despite the disappointment there are still a lot of positives from the performance.
“We came down here with confidence. We came down here with a plan to try and win the game. It is disappointing to be heading home with nothing but we have a chance to put things right on Saturday against Partick Thistle and will look to try and go on another good run.
“It is now going to be a tough battle between ourselves, Rangers, Hearts and also St Johnstone for second spot. It is going to be a tough fight. We need to keep trying to pick up as many three points as we can.
“It was massive to keep Jonny at the club. It is massive keeping players who can win you games. And Jonny is certainly one who has done that in the past. He is one of our most creative players. E have a good settled squad. Hopefully that will help us kick on for the rest of the season.
“We can always improve and we will look to do that on Saturday.”
