The first international break of 2026 is upon us, with a selection of Dons jetting off to link up with their National sides once again.
Dylan Lobban & Mitchel Frame - Scotland U21s
Young full backs Dylan and Mitchel have been called into Scot Gemmill's Scotland U21 squad for their upcoming UEFA U21 Euro qualifying games against Czechia and Portugal.
Scotland sit third in the five team group B after six games, below both opponents they are set to take on during the break.
They take on Czechia on Friday night at Dens Park before setting off for Estádio António Coimbra da Mota in Portugal on the Tuesday. The pair currently both have one U21 cap to their name.

Topi Keskinen - Finland
With no World Cup to look forward, Topi and the Eagle Owls have a couple of friendlies to keep things ticking over before they return to competitive action in the form of UEFA Nations League in September.
They are making the long trip to New Zealand where they will play the All Whites in a friendly in Auckland, before playing Cape Verde, who are gearing up for their first ever appearance at a World Cup, also in the City of Sails.
The matches are part of the 2026 FIFA Series, an invitational tournament promoted by FIFA that features friendly matches between national teams from different continental confederations. Finland could go onto face Chile, the fourth team in the tournament, or have rematches against New Zealand or Cape Verde, in either the final or the third/fourth play-off game.
Keskinen will be hoping to reach double figures of international caps during the break, the winger is currently on nine.

Dimitar Mitov - Bulgaria
Like Topi and Finland, Dimi and the Bulgaria national team have a pair of friendlies, this time in Indonesia and also part of the 2026 FIFA Series, to look forward to.
They will face the Solomon Islands, before taking on the hosts Indonesia, in Jakarta, with both games taking place at the impressive 78,000 capacity Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
Bulgaria could go on to play St Kitts and Nevis, or rematch against Solomon Islands or Indonesia.
Mitov currently has 14 senior caps for The Lions.

Marko Lazetic - Serbia U21s
Marko's Serbia, alongside Albania, is set to host the upcoming 2027 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, so with qualification already secured as one of the home nations, they will also take part in a series of friendlies over the break.
They head for Antalya, where they will play Kyrgyzstan and hosts Turkiye.
Lazetic has made eight appearances for Serbia U21s since making his debut in October 2023.

Kjartan's Iceland U21s go into the break sitting fourth in their qualifying group for the 2027 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, with 2 wins, 2 draws, and 1 loss.They face two key fixtures: Estonia in Reykjavík on Thursday, before the tall order of taking on group toppers France in Auxerre.
The France squad includes Mathys Tel (Tottenham), Lesley Ugochukwu (Burnley), and Lenny Yoro (Manchester United).

On-loan Cove Rangers trio Cooper, Joseph, and Lewis have been named in the Scotland U19 squad for their upcoming UEFA U19 Euro 2027 Qualifiers.
Neil McFarlane’s side will kick-off the run of games by playing Italy at The Albert Bartlett Stadium in Airdrie on the 25th.
Three days later, they face the Republic of Ireland in Kirkintilloch, before returning to Lanarkshire to take on Poland on Tuesday 31st.
