“I felt a real connection with the supporters straight away. I felt like I got my career back on track at Aberdeen, and I owe the club and the supporters for that.

“I remember Burnley Away, driving past the cricket ground and just seeing a sea of red, it looked like a beach party. Then in the warm-up the stadium’s full and they’re singing. It was one of the best memories of my career.”
