The reaction to the Fans Project launch has been fantastic with donations big and small from Dons fans around the world!
In case you missed it, the Fans Project was introduced earlier this week to transform the stadium and matches into a fortress of colour, energy and atmosphere, ensuring every matchday is an unforgettable experience.
The initiative will support the club’s continued investment to bring more colour and atmosphere to matchdays at Pittodrie.
As the Project aims to support many aspects of the club, AFC Supporter Experience Manager Stephen McCormick wanted to bring together a diverse committee who have experience in many fields from right across the Dons support.
“The potential of the Fans Project is massive, so it was important to have the right people in place when it comes to handling the fantastic donations the fans send in.
“Those include fans who work with children and families, working with disabled supporters, the Polish community, as well as fans that work in Law, Business and Accounting so everything that the Fans Project do is done professionally” Stephen commented.
The Fans Project will be able to help Ultras Aberdeen and the Display team when they are raising funds for big Tifo displays, and for creating a lot of colour at future Dons games to enhance the whole matchday experience at Pittodrie and on the road. Having a bank of funds available to support these active groups will make an incredible difference.
Having the funds in place will also help to commemorate the passing of players and fans so the project can always be ready as a support to react to such life events.

Every donation will make a difference and you can also donate throughout the season when purchasing tickets for home and away games, and when buying merchandise from the club.
