Four goal Michael Jones was the hero as Scott Anderson’s team defeated Dundee 5-0 to reach tomorrow’s final against either Celtic or Sunderland. In a close first half the only goal came when Jones deflected a fierce Michael Kelly drive past Kyle Gourlay.

Dundee, having played two games yesterday, unsurprisingly tired after the break and Jones tool full advantage, taking his personal haul to four with Liam Craig also finding the net.

In the second semi final, Celtic defeated Sunderland by two goals to one to also reach the final which will take place tomorrow at 2.30pm at Aberdeen Sports Village.
