Eight Aberdeen FC Youth Academy players have joined the fold at Cormack Park ahead of season 2026/27.
As we continue to explore the best possible pathway for our young talent, this season will see four players join on professional terms, with four joining on a part-time basis.
Academy Director Stuart Glennie paid tribute to the efforts of our Young Dons.
He said: “It's another milestone for us as Club. A lot of these guys have been with us since the start, so they've had a pre-academy graduation, and then they've had their signing night when they signed on as a young player. The recent graduation evening was another stepping stone for them.
“It's great to invite the families to come along and celebrate the occasion. It’s an important step on to the next stage of their journey. It takes a lot of hard work to get here so tonight is very important.
“They'll all have different pathways, but we believe that these boys will have an opportunity.
“We have to make sure that the players that we take in are ones that we genuinely believe have a pathway to our first team.
“We can give them opportunities, but it's up to them now to grasp the opportunity in front of them.”
