Defender Maddie Finnie made her Aberdeen debut on 14 August 2022 against Rangers in SWPL 1, starting the match at the age of 15.
Born on 7 September 2006, Finnie progressed through the club’s pathway before stepping up from under-19 level to the first team.
She signed her first semi-professional contract in July 2023 and later extended her deal in July 2025, committing her future to the club until at least the summer of 2027.
In her debut season (2022/23), Finnie made 17 appearances in all competitions, including 16 league appearances.
She featured regularly again in 2023/24, making 30 appearances, before adding a further 24 appearances across all competitions during the 2024/25 campaign.
