Defender Aimee Black joined the AFC Women’s first team setup ahead of the 2022/23 season, progressing through the club’s pathway. Born on 13 August 2006, she made her senior debut on 16 April 2023 in a 2–1 victory over Hamilton Academical, appearing as a substitute.
Black made four appearances during her debut campaign, all from the bench. Her involvement increased in the 2023/24 season, where she featured 22 times across all competitions. She continued that progression in 2024/25, making 31 appearances as her game time increased within the squad.
During the 2025/26 season, Black has made 17 appearances and scored two goals. Across her Aberdeen career to date, she has recorded a total of 74 appearances and five goals in all competitions.
At international level, Black has represented Scotland at both Under-17 and Under-19 level. She is currently contracted to the club until the end of the 2026/27 season.
