Liam Morrison joined Aberdeen on loan from EFL Championship side Queens Park Rangers in January 2026. The former Scotland Under-21 international came through the ranks at Celtic before moving to German giants Bayern Munich in 2019. Progressing through the academy system in Bavaria, Morrison became a regular for Bayern Munich II and, during the 2023/24 season, joined Wigan Athletic on loan to gain first-team experience. He went on to make 35 appearances for the Latics. The 22-year-old centre-back, a regular across Scotland’s youth international set-ups, joined QPR on a permanent deal in the summer of 2024.
