Jack attended the SFA Performance School at Hazlehead Academy and the Youth Academy at Under 12s and was rewarded with full time contract in the summer of 2020. Born in Aberdeen, he played one year at Under 18s, before being loaned out to Highland League side Brechin City for first half of the 2021/22 campaign. Jack who was initially a midfielder but moved back to centre back was handed his first team debut in the Premier Sports Cup game at Peterhead in July 2022. He joined Kelty Hearts in the second part of the 2022/23 season, making 15 appearances for the League 1 side. In October 2023 he signed a contract extension until 2026. After helping the Dons to win the Scottish Cup, he signed a new deal until the summer of 2029.
