with AFC and CNR International
Our fundraising through football scheme, Dons Day Out, returns on Saturday 3rd August as the 2013/2014 season kicks off against Kilmarnock and once again we are delighted to announce the generous support of CNR International as official sponsors of the initiative.
Dons Day Out offers non profit organisations, schools and youth groups the chance to enjoy a VIP match-day experience at Pittodrie while raising funds which can be reinvested back in to the organisation.
Following on from the success of last year, which saw over 2,000 participants take part in Dons Day Out, CNR International, had no hesitation at once again sponsoring such a worthy community initiative.
Commenting on the continued sponsorship, Vice President, Finance of CNR International, Barry Duncansaid: “Having regularly attended matches at Pittodrie last season and witnessed the youngsters enjoying a Dons Day Out at Pittodrie in the Merkland Family Stand we were delighted to continue our relationship with this great initiative.
“As a company with strong links in our local community it is important for us to see youngsters, who may not normally have the opportunity to attend matches at Pittodrie, being give the opportunity to see the team in action. With over 2,000 participants enjoying a Dons Day out last season we hope those numbers will continue to rise with many more local organisations and schools raising valuable funds and assisting many great causes.”
Dons Day Out gives non profit organisations the chance to receive cash-back on tickets for selected SPFL matches at Pittodrie and we are pleased to confirm all Celtic games will now be included in the initiative. All funds raised can then be re-invested back in to your organisation.
And for all those Dons daft youngsters out there – why not kick off your birthday celebrations with an extra special Dons Day Out at Pittodrie, while helping to raise funds for your school.
Every Dons Day Out participant will receive an exclusive Dons Day Out t-shirt as well as have their photograph taken in the Merkland Family stand with Angus the Bull – a great souvenir of their day out.
