Defender Richard Jensen was delighted that after the disappointments of last Sunday, the Dons immediately got back to winning ways at Pittodrie with a 2-1 win over Livingston.
“Sunday was one of the biggest disappointments I’ve had in football, but it’s how you handle those disappointments that decide your career I think. You can’t dwell in the past, you have to move forward and we did that tonight. I think the guys showed real mental strength tonight, I’m really proud of them.
“It was not a nice feeling being 1-0 down but this is when you have to stand up and I think we showed the character of the team tonight. I think everybody played their part, everybody did their job in a big group effort. It was a big win, we needed it, and now we need to try and keep on winning games.
“It’s paramount that we start to get some consistent wins together and start to move up the league. This was a huge win for us, we couldn’t have any other result and from here, this is the time to really start motoring in the league. We are due a run in the league so we need to start picking up points home and away now.”
