The Vattenfall Award of the Month recognises outstanding commitment to the girls’ game from an individual, whether that be a player, coach or volunteer.

The winner of this award for April is Elsie King!

Robin Watt, Libby’s coach at Formartine United Girls commented “Elsie joined Formartine Girls on the very first training session when the team was formed 2 years ago. Since then, she has a near perfect attendance to training sessions and games. Even a short hospital trip didn’t stop Elsie from running back onto the pitch almost immediately!”

“Elsie always has a smile on her face. She listens to what the coaches have to say and tries hard in everything she does. This is then reflected on the pitch, where she can be a force to contend with!”

This month’s award was presented at Formartine United’s training session in Pitmedden, where a couple of the Club’s age groups trained and celebrated Elsie’s achievement.
