Aberdeen Football Club are currently looking for a part time scout to work in the Buchan area with our progressive Youth Academy recruitment team and are inviting applications from enthusiastic and committed individuals who want to work in elite youth development;

AFC Youth Academy aims to provide talented young players with an elite level education and development programme which will allow them to reach their full potential in the game.

AFC Youth Academy are a 4 star 'Elite' level academy with age group teams at U10s-17s who participate within the 'Elite' tier (top 12 in Scotland) of Club Academy Scotland.

The role is part-time for which scouts are paid monthly as well as all of the following

1.    The opportunity to be part of a highly regarded Youth Academy system 2.    Mentoring support and guidance from the academy staff 3.    Two AFC first team season tickets

As a minimum the candidate will be expected to cover local juvenile and school matches as well as watching a small number of Aberdeen FC Youth Academy Matches on a weekly basis. The Games to be covered will be agreed with your line manager on a weekly basis.  Candidate will also be expected to attend a monthly scouts meeting as required.

Candidates should have experience of working within youth football and knowledge of local football clubs and leagues and would be advantageous.
