AFCCT is the independent partner charity of Aberdeen Football Club and, together with the ‘hook’ of football, utilises the Club’s high profile, brand and connections to enhance the delivery of the trust’s charitable objectives to benefit local communities and positively influence others.
We have a vacancy for a Health & Wellbeing (HWB) Officer. Reporting to the HWB Team Lead, you will help coordinate and deliver an extensive range of community programmes. These will include Football Fans in Training (FFIT), The Changing Room, Pittodrie Hub, Football Memories, Music & Social Memories, Community Health Walks and developing family, dementia and preventative health activity. The role is hands-on: planning and delivering sessions, building relationships with participants, supporting volunteers, working with partners and helping people connect with specialist support when they need it.
You will have experience in community health and wellbeing, health promotion, social care, physical activity, community engagement or programme delivery. You will be a strong communicator, comfortable facilitating groups and having sensitive individual conversations, and able to organise delivery and capture evidence of the difference it makes.
A relevant qualification and experience of programmes supporting health, dementia, mental health, families or physical activity would be an advantage.

This is a permanent, full-time role working 35 hours per week, with flexibility on working hours required due to the nature of the role, with some evening / weekend work required at times. (This role will be a mix of office time and offsite delivery).
