We have a vacancy for a Family Support Coach as part of our nationwide ‘Centre Circle’ partnership.
Reporting to the Health and Wellbeing Team Lead Team Lead, you will provide high-quality, relationship-based support to children, young people and families experiencing poverty, disadvantage, isolation, or other challenges.
You will manage a caseload of families, providing strengths-based, whole-family support that helps individuals identify their goals, build resilience, improve wellbeing, access appropriate services, and achieve positive outcomes.
The Family Support Coach will represent AFCCT, using the power of football and community engagement to support families and strengthen local communities across Aberdeen City / Aberdeenshire. This is not a football coaching role.
You will have experience of working directly with families, parents, carers, children, young people or communities providing one-to-one support, key-working, casework or family support. You will have experience of building positive relationships with people experiencing disadvantage or challenging circumstances alongside the ability to develop and nurture relationships with key partners.

This is a full-time, fixed term role (until March 2028) working 35 hours per week, with flexibility on working hours required due to the nature of the role, with some evening / weekend work required at times.
This role will be a mix of office time and offsite delivery.
