Betfred Cup Final Aberdeen v Celtic Sunday 27th November, 3pm KO Hampden Park, Glasgow
Ahead of Sunday’s Betfred Cup Final with Celtic we would like to thank our supporters who have backed the team once again in huge numbers. On Sunday half of Hampden will be red and white as The Red Army make the trip south to Glasgow. Almost all of our tickets have now gone but please note there is still a very limited number of tickets left for anyone who wants to make a last-minute purchase. Fans from all over the world are travelling back to Scotland for Sunday’s showdown and the support of The Red Army is greatly appreciated by all the players and the management team. Derek McInnes told RedTV: “When the players run out and even on the approach to Hampden on Sunday, to see so many of our supporters in and around the stadium and en route will be fantastic. “It’s important that we use that to our advantage and that the crowd get right into the game for us, they have got to see the team on the front foot being positive and setting out to win the game.” The Club would also like to pay tribute to the hard working staff in the ticket office who have carried out the ticketing process in a professional and efficient manner with assistance from partner charity Aberdeen FC Community Trust volunteers. Additional thanks is also expressed to all supporters for their patience and understanding during the process. AFC Chief Executive, Duncan Fraser added “It has been a huge task selling that number of tickets in such a short space of time with some real logistical issues that had to be overcome. I would like to thank our Customer Service Team for working day and night to make sure all the tickets were processed. ”It was also great to see volunteers from AFCCT help out at times when things were really busy too, there has been a real community feel around the place and the assistance is invaluable at times like these.” Tickets for Sunday's match must be collected from the Pittodrie Ticket Office and supporters are encouraged where possible to collect tickets by Thursday night at the latest as Rangers away tickets go on sale on Friday morning. There will be no collection point or cash turnstiles at Hampden Park. Please note supporter information will be available on the website on Friday and don’t forget RedTV International viewers can watch the game live on RedTV. COYR! BUYING TICKETS
