The club announced the news that Ryan Fraser completed his moved to Bournemouth just before the managers media conference.
“We are disappointed to be losing Ryan but he was anxious to go. We resigned ourselves to the fact we were losing him although I felt it would be better for his development if he stayed.
“We will miss him. There was a spark about his play.
“As a young player though we wish him all the very best. I am sure he will do well.
“I do not want to discuss if Peter Pawlett will come back until I have discussed the issue further with Peter, his dad, his agent and Steve Lomas. I will have a chat with Steve on Monday or Tuesday. We could just say your coming back but I want everyone to be comfortable with the decision.
“I am looking forward to the second part of the season with keen anticipation. I see an improvement on the injury front although it is disappointing that we have to rule out Andrew Considine and Chris Clark for the season. Ryan Jack and Gary Naysmith will hopefully be back soon. Four players out is a big improvement on the eight or nine we had before.
“Back into contention come Stephen Hughes, Rob Milsom and Issac Osbourne for the game tomorrow. Apart from at the very beginning of the season it is the best it has been in terms of players available for selection.”
Nicky Low and Declan McManus will also travel with the squad tomorrow.
“Inverness is a difficult place to go and get a result but we are doing well away from home this season. Last time up there we got a draw despite being harshly dealt with when Russell Anderson was sent off in the first half and they then scored from the resulting penalty.
“It is a very important part of the season coming up. There are a lot of league games coming up plus the cup game. There is a good atmosphere in the dressing room. I wanted to still be contention at this stage of the season and we are.”
