We wanted to remind supporters that, for our upcoming William Hill Premiership match against Kilmarnock, Aberdeen FC has been granted a licence by Aberdeen City Council permitting the sale of alcohol within the Richard Donald Stand (RDS) Lower concourse ahead of kick-off.

Key information for match attendees:

• Access to this trial event is restricted to home supporters with season tickets or match tickets in the Richard Donald Stand, and will be fully managed in line with all licensing regulations.

• Alcohol will be available pre-match only and exclusively within the Richard Donald Stand Lower concourse.

• Turnstiles will open at the earlier time of 1.00pm, with alcohol served until 2.45pm.

• Supporters wishing to purchase alcohol will be asked to show proof of age along with their match ticket on arrival; after this check, a wristband will be issued to make service easier throughout the concourse.

• Drinks must be consumed within designated areas and not in sight of the pitch.

• Additional security and stewarding will be in place to support a smooth and safe operation, with AFC staff also on hand to gather supporter feedback.

• Live music will be provided by Callum Leys from 1.00pm to help enhance the matchday atmosphere.

This initiative forms part of wider work across Scottish football to understand how a carefully managed approach to alcohol sales may enhance the matchday experience.

All supporters should note that there will be a limit of 2 pints per order under the terms of the alcohol licence. Our usual matchday operations and safety standards remain unchanged.

Tickets for the match remain available online, in person from the Pittodrie Ticket Office, and over the phone by calling 01224 63 1903.
