The Dons have this afternoon been drawn away to Ross County in the William Hill Scottish Cup 5th round draw. The tie will take place on the weekend of the 11th/12th of February 2017. Full details will be confirmed in due course.
Following the draw, Derek McInnes gave his reaction to afc.co.uk:
“It's obviously disappointing not to get a home draw and it is always tough going up to Dingwall. That said, any tie is going to be difficult when there's a quarter final place at stake, and we'll look forward to the game when it comes around but we've three very important league games to play before we turn our attention to the Cup again.”
The full draw is:
Dunfermline v Hamilton Raith Rovers or Hearts v Hibernian St Johnstone v Partick Thistle Ayr Utd or Queen's Park v Stirling Albion or Clyde East Fife v St Mirren Ross County v Aberdeen Celtic v Inverness CT Rangers v Morton
