Aberdeen captain Graeme Shinnie has been called up to Alex McLeish’s Scotland squad for the upcoming internationals against Belgium and Albania. Shinnie made his debut for the national side in the summer against Peru and also played the full 90 minutes against Mexico three days later.
Scotland welcome Belgium, who finished third at the World Cup, in a friendly on Friday 7th of September before facing Albania the following Monday in the first match of the newly-formed UEFA Nations League. Both matches will be played at Hampden Park.
