People attending events at Hampden Park should be aware that the area around the stadium is mainly residential and there is very limited parking for private cars.

On event days, Police Scotland would advise people to use public transport to get to the stadium, if not travelling by organised coaches/buses.

PRIVATE CAR

The Queens Park Recreation Ground, Queens Drive, Glasgow, may be available for parking of private vehicles at a cost (subject to a pre-match day inspection).

COACHES

Travel advice for Aberdeen supporters:

PRE MATCH ROUTES FOR ABERDEEN SUPPORTERS COACHES APPROACHING THE WEST OF THE STADIUM

M8 Westbound: Exit the M8 at Junction 22 and join the M77. Leave the M77 at Junction 1, Dumbreck Road, turn left onto Dumbreck Road and continue until the junction with Titwood Road (high vehicles such as double deck buses – turn right, Haggs Road, turn left Shawmoss Road, turn right Titwood Road) continue Titwood Road. Turn right onto Minard Road continue onto Langside Avenue to the roundabout (Monument). Take the second exit at the roundabout onto Battlefield Road, continue on Battlefield Road to the first traffic light junction and bear right remaining on Battlefield Road to the ‘T’ junction with Cathcart Road. Turn left onto Cathcart Road and take the immediate right onto Letherby Drive, where coaches will be directed to park in the ‘blue carpark’. A car park pass will be required for entry; those without a pass should utilise on street parking where available.

M80 Southbound: Join M8 Westbound and continue as above.

M74 Northbound: Continue from the M74 onto the M73 and thereafter onto the M8 Westbound and continue as above.

M8 Eastbound: Exit at Junction 22, Seaward Street, keep to right lane travelling under motorway bridge, join M77 Northbound, keep left continue on M77 Exit at Junction 1, Dumbreck Road, turn right and continue as above. A77/M77 Northbound: Exit at Junction 1, Dumbreck Road, turn right and continue as above.

Blue Car Park Pass Holders / Hospitality: Follow the directions for M8 Westbound, after turning left onto Cathcart Road take the next right onto Letherby Drive, cross Carmunnock Road and into Blue Car Park.

A car park pass will be required for entry; those without a pass should utilise on street parking where available.

Hospitality vehicles entering the ‘blue carpark’ must enter no later than 60 minutes prior to kick off.

POST MATCH ROUTES FOR ABERDEEN SUPPORTERS FROM THE WEST OF THE STADIUM

Langside Road: Continue to Langside Monument. Take 3rd exit onto Langside Avenue. Continue west on Langside Avenue through the junction with Pollokshaws Road onto Minard Road. Continue on Minard Road and turn left onto Titwood Road and follow reverse of inward route towards M77/M8 as appropriate. On Titwood Road consider reverse diversion route for high sided vehicles via Shawmoss Road and Haggs Road.

Queens Drive: Turn left onto Langside Road, keep right at traffic lights, and continue on Langside Road, Continue to Langside Monument. Take 3rd. exit onto Langside Avenue. Continue west on Langside Avenue through the junction with Pollokshaws Road onto Minard Road. Continue on Minard Road and turn left onto Titwood Road and follow reverse of inward route towards M77/M8 as appropriate. On Titwood Road consider reverse diversion route for high sided vehicles via Shawmoss Road and Haggs Road.

PRIVATE TRANSPORT

Designated Parking on WEST SIDE of Stadium Only for Aberdeen supporters:

Aberdeen supporters attending in private vehicles should follow the directions given for Aberdeen supporters’ coaches above, and utilise on street parking where available to the West of the stadium. Limited paid parking will be available on a first come, first served basis within the Queens Park recreational ground, Queens Drive, Glasgow.

Parking is controlled by a temporary traffic regulation order (coned areas). On street parking should only be utilised out with restricted areas as a tow-away scheme is in operation for illegally parked vehicles. As a result, there is limited parking available in the vicinity of the stadium; supporters are encouraged to travel via train where possible. Aberdeen supporters using rail services should travel via Mount Florida station.

SUPPORTER INFORMATION

Do not lose your ticket as there are no re-print facilities on match day.

There are NO cash turnstiles on match day.

Turnstiles will be open 1 ½ hours before kick-off at 10.45am.

Clubs have been reminded that this is a neutral venue and as such they will be held responsible to repair or pay for any damage caused by their supporters.

Supporters are reminded about no alcohol on buses travelling to the game.

HAMPDEN STADIUM GROUND REGULATIONS

The use of threatening behaviour, foul or abusive language is strictly FORBIDDEN. Racial, sectarian, homophobic or discriminatory abuse or chanting is also forbidden and is considered as unacceptable conduct and may result in arrest and a lifetime ban from regulated football matches.

It is an offence for any person to enter or attempt to enter the ground:-

1. Whilst in possession of a prohibited container which is or was capable of holding liquid and which if thrown would be capable of causing injury to another person. 2. Whilst in possession of alcohol. 3. Whilst drunk. 4. Whilst in possession of any article or substance whose main purpose is the emission of a flare for purposes of illuminating or signalling or the emission of smoke or a visible gas. 5. Any article which is a firework.

All persons entering this Ground are admitted subject to the condition that they may be required to submit to search to prevent prohibited articles being brought into the Ground which might be used to cause injury or damage to other persons or property.

Standing is FORBIDDEN in seated viewing areas.

Banners, or other articles which could, or might be used as a weapon, or to cause annoyance or unnecessary obstruction or offence, are not permitted within the ground.

Under no circumstances is it permitted to throw any objects which may cause injury or offence whether on to the pitch or track or otherwise.

Spectators found in the wrong area amid opposing fans may be ejected.

All persons entering this Ground are admitted only subject to the above Ground Regulations and to the Rules and Regulations of The Scottish Football Association and the Scottish Professional Football League. Entry to this Ground shall be deemed to constitute unqualified acceptance of all these Rules and Regulations.

The Club reserves the right for its servants and agents and for members of police forces to remove from this Ground any person who does NOT COMPLY WITH GROUND REGULATIONS AND WITH THE RULES AND REGULATIONS of The Scottish Football Association, the Scottish Professional Football League or whose presence in the Ground is or could reasonably be construed as constituting a source of danger, nuisance or annoyance to other Spectators.

Smoking in no-smoking areas is strictly FORBIDDEN.

On no account will admission be granted to a person who is subject of a current Football Banning Order. CCTV cameras may be in use and recordings could be used in any proceedings.

You should be aware that in terms of a protocol with the Scottish Police Service the details of any arrest or detention occurring in connection with a football match may be shared with the Club. Football Banning Orders may be imposed on individuals who infringe these rules.

UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR

Unacceptable conduct is conduct which is violent or disorderly. Violent conduct includes any actual, attempted or threatened physical violence against any person, or intentional damage to property. Disorderly conduct includes: Conduct which stirs up or sustains, or is likely or is designed to stir up or sustain, hatred or ill will against or towards individuals or groups of people based on their membership of presumed membership of the following categories: • Gender, colour, race, nationality or ethnic or national origin • Membership, or presumed membership, of a religious group or of a social or cultural group with perceived religious affiliation • Sexual orientation • Transgender identity • Disability • Or against an individual who is or is presumed to be a member of such group using threatening, abusive or insulting words or conduct; displaying writing or any other thing which is threatening, abusive or insulting; using words or conduct or displaying any writing or other thing which indicates support for, or affiliation to, or celebration of, or opposition to an organisation or group proscribed in terms of the Terrorism Act 2000.

Any person engaging in unacceptable conduct may be subject to removal from the Stadium, report to the police and possible criminal proceedings.
