Aberdeen can confirm this afternoon that Sam Roscoe has joined Championship side Ayr United. The paperwork is now completed.
The English left sided central defender has joined the Somerset Park club after putting pen to paper on a two-year deal.
The 20-year-old, who becomes 21 on Sunday, was on loan for the majority of last season at Alloa Athletic after playing for the Dons Colts in the Irn-Bru Cup against Raith Rovers.
Sam made 24 appearances for The Wasps and helped Jim Goodwin’s side avoid relegation.
The 6ft 5 centre half spent three seasons at Pittodrie and was part of the Development squad after moving to Scotland from Blackpool.
