“It was a scrappy game, the pitch didn’t help. It was a battle between two teams with very limited chances. We are disappointed that we didn’t come away with the three points. It was a pretty poor goal to lose by our standards. At the end of the day it is a point, which is better than nothing. We need to move onto Dundee United next week, which is another massive game for us.
“Last week wasn’t good enough, we all know that. The results need to pick up. We need to accumulate as many points as we can between now and the end of the season.
“The gaffer came in last night, he hasn’t had the chance to have a training session with us. We had a meeting where we went over our tactics and our game plan. We battled away today, it was difficult but I thought every single one of us stood up. It is something we are going to need to do more of.
“When a manager gets the sack it is us as players to blame. It is a difficult situation. We wish Stephen Glass all of the best and hopefully things go well for him in the future.
“We have got our new gaffer now and we need to look forward. We need to pick up as many points between now and the end of the season and see where it takes us.
“The gaffer was a top player back in the day, he played at a good level throughout his career. He can pass down his previous experience. He is a top manager, you saw what he did at St Mirren. All of the boys can’t wait to get working with him.
“The table is so tight. We need to take each game as it comes and accumulate as many points as we can. We need to focus on ourselves and not look at any other teams.”
