Season ticket prices frozen for the third successive season
Aberdeen FC has announced season ticket and match-day ticket prices will remain at the same level for the third season in a row with under 12’s again being given the opportunity to enjoy football for FREE at Pittodrie with every adult season ticket purchased.
Next season will also see the Club focus on 12-17 year old supporters with the formation of the Next Generation membership, offering a host of excusive benefits for young supporters. With a dedicated ambassador for the new membership selected from the first team squad, members will have the opportunity to enjoy many ‘money can’t buy’ experiences at Pittodrie throughout next season.
Dons boss Derek McInnes commented. “Season ticket holders are the bedrock and foundation of a club and as a one club City, AFC holds a unique position at the heart of the North East community. We are very lucky at this club to have the level of support we do but we are judged on the pitch and we need to deliver a team this City can be proud of once again.
“With the Club looking to the future and placing a spotlight on our young fans, with a free ticket for all under 12’s and the introduction of the Next Generation membership, I am sure, this is a gesture which will encourage a generation of new Red Army followers.”
In addition, season ticket holders can once again, for a small extra cost, upgrade to ‘Black and Gold’ membership to take advantage of benefits including a free home or away shirt, exclusive Q&A evening with the management team, two ticket offers allowing members to bring a buddy to Pittodrie, 15% discount in the AFC Club Store and the chance to feature in the award winning Redmatchday programme.
Aberdeen supporters have until 5pm on Monday 17th June 2013 to take advantage of the ‘Early Bird’ season ticket prices for the new season which gets underway on Saturday 3rd August. Existing season ticket holders have the opportunity to purchase their own seat until 5pm on Monday 3rd June, after which will follow a grace period for RDS Upper season ticket holders to select a new seat, before general sale commences.
