Schoolkids across the North-east were given the chance to design today’s Red Matchday programme cover, as part of our celebration of AFC Community Trust Day.

We asked for the design to not only encompass everything red and white, but to mark the 10th anniversary of the AFCCT.

We had thousands of entries, but the winning design came from Fernando Scala Sanson, who is 10 and goes to Hillside Primary School, Portlethen.

Fernando not only has his design on the cover today, but also won a VIP behind the scenes experience at the stadium today. A further 20 runners up all received tickets for today’s game.

Congratulations to Fernando and a massive thank you to everyone who took the time to enter the competition.
