Aberdeen Football Club and Red Army Displays are continuing their partnership for the 2018/19 season with the aim being to enhance the matchday atmosphere and experience at Pittodrie and on the road. The group have put on some magnificent displays over the last few seasons including the 2017 Scottish Cup Final “Stand Free” display and the Red Army have more than played their part in helping add colour and noise to Dons matches.
The display team are on the lookout for committed volunteers willing to give up their time to help with a number of areas that go with organising a mass display and it is important to note that there are more opportunities than just setting up a display. This includes sorting and recycling materials, running the social media channels, mail chimp coordinating and organising fundraising events. Ultimately the displays would not be possible without the dedication of volunteers and donations therefore we welcome help from all supporters.
A “Go Fund Me” page has been set up and the group are looking to reach the £3,000 mark. If you would like to donate to the Go fund me page you will automatically be entered into a draw to win some fantastic prizes including Mark Reynolds’ signed boots and a number of framed prints. The draw will take place in the near future and you can keep up to date with Red Army Displays by following on Facebook, Twitter @RedArmyDisplay and or visiting the Go fund me page.
