“We have not been doing any crossing or finishing yet in training. The main emphasis has been on getting the boys fitness up and tonight was another step towards getting that fitness up. I have got to be pleased with the clean sheet, have got to be pleased with scoring a few goals. There are plenty areas of improvement but we are not expecting everything to be right straight away.

“Of the new boys I thought Barry Robson did well. He was very influential. Gary Wylde showed the pace that he has got. He is going to be a real threat for us and going to give us balance off that left hand side. Willo Flood does what he does. He keeps things ticking along for us and turned over possession. Calvin Zola has a slight hamstring strain so he did not play tonight but it’s nothing to be too concerned about.

“The manager also confirmed that Andrew Considine will be out for a bit longer meanwhile he is also hopeful of having a goalkeeper on board quite soon.
