“When you come and play for bigger clubs then you know you are not going to play every week. Aberdeen have done so well the past few years. It is a massive club now. When you come to a massive club there are going to be challenges and plenty of competition for places.

“The gaffer has rotated it quite a lot trying to keep it fresh. I missed out last week so I need to work hard in training and we will see what happens this week and see if I can get back in.

“There are a lot of good players here. When you get your chance you need to take it.

“Even though we won the manager might change it. Each week he will look at the opponent and then pick the team he thinks will give us the best chance to get the three points on a Saturday. He has already spoken to us about that. Like any manager on occasion he will get it wrong but more often than not I am sure he will get it right. He certainly has done so far.

“We are on a good run and we want to keep that record going. We have not played as well as we know we can which is not a bad thing. Not playing your best but still winning games. We know though we still have a lot of work to do but if we can get a win on Saturday then we will go into the international break with maximum points.

“Since I have come in the fans have been brilliant. Both home and away they come in their numbers. They play their money and follow the team. I appreciate they have a lot of travelling to do. We work hard to try and get the victories for them.”
