“Obviously coming off the back of a disappointing result against Motherwell the lads were just looking to get back on the pitch as quickly as possible. The international break came at a bad time, but I’m delighted for Kenny (McLean) and Jonny (Hayes) making their debut and delighted for (Simon) Church getting his goal when he’s away as well.
“All and all it was a great display, especially the first half today to see off a good Hamilton side who are obviously fighting for their lives down in the bottom six, so it’s been a good day all round.
“When you come off a bad result you just want to get back on the pitch as quickly as possible.
“Kenny and Jonny are on highs making their international debuts and today I thought they were excellent. Kenny took his goal well and Jonny’s been the way he’s been all season. He set up a great goal today for Simon.
“We have to keep that form going into Friday night.
“We just want to get back to winning ways as quickly as possible, we know ourselves we just need to win every game between now and the end of the season and see where it takes us.
“It’s still close, but we just have to concentrate on ourselves and thankfully we’ve got back to winning ways today. “Obviously Celtic had a good result yesterday, they’re back playing well again and they’re a hard team to stop.
“We know ourselves if we play like the way we played today, particularly in the first half, we’ll win more games than we won’t. It’s about taking each game as it comes.

“It sets it up for a tough game on Friday night, but it’s a game we’re looking forward to and it’s going to be a great atmosphere.
“We’ve shown at the start of the season that we can beat Hearts down there and they’ve shown that they can beat us as well. It’s going to be a great spectacle and it’s one we are looking forward to.”
