Natasha Bruce spoke to RedTV after Wednesday’s game with Glasgow City, to preview Sunday’s trip to Motherwell. To watch in full on RedTV, please click here.

“We knew that Wednesday night against Glasgow City was going to be a tough challenge, we know the quality that they have and they scored some good goals. In the second half we worked hard, stuck to the game plan and we got at them a bit more. We got higher up the park and we were a little bit braver. We are positive that we can bring that into Sunday’s game and have a bit more possession.

“We are a close team, we have had back to back promotions and we have been used to winning. The test of a team is when you go through tougher spells, against tough opponents, it has been hard but no one likes getting beat. We have got a real togetherness, we work every week and Sunday is a game that we look to go and compete and win.

“We are a close team and we reflect on every game. We learn from it, be it any individual or collective mistakes or anything that we want to improve on as a team. Everyone pulls together. There are games coming up where we want to go and compete and take every opportunity that we can. We want to put on a good performance as well.

“We are learning in every game. There are girls who haven’t played in this league before. It is a high quality. We are taking every opportunity to learn and grow.

“It would be good to get some points back on the board. We had a decent start but we have had a tough run of games and we will look forward to each game at a time, starting with Motherwell on Sunday.”
