“It was incredibly frustrating.

“We gave away a slop early goal which is frustrating and disappointing on our part.

“I think the response after that was good. We played well throughout the game and created a good amount of chances and we are annoyed we have not taken a couple of them and won the game.

“So a very disappointing night all round.

“Once they got the goal they were happy to defend and sit in and try and defend their one goal lead. The position they are in in the table they will fighting for everything and they did it well. They made a lot of blocks. But we still created chances and did get openings and maybe we should do better.

“The last time we came down here I don’t think we played overly well and maybe did not deserve anything on that occasion but tonight we definitely did. We did more than enough to win the game let alone draw it.

“We will wait and see how the injured boys are but over the past couple of weeks we have shown how strong the squad is with players coming off the bench. If the boys are struggling for Sunday then there are players waiting to come in and grab their chance.”
