The purpose of the FFIT programme on Saturday was to provide half-time entertainment for the 30,000 spectators in Hampden Park but away from the showpiece event the programme has made a real positive impact on the lives of the participants.

“I cannot thank AFC Community Trust enough for the help, experiences and changes to my life since entering the FFIT programme 12 months ago.” FFIT participant, Colin Shanks

“It’s almost impossible for me to put into words, how grateful I am to represent AFCCT and FFIT whenever the chance arises. Week Zero of FFIT 2015 takes place next Tuesday and I can’t wait to get involved and offer advice and help in any way I can.” FFIT participant, Douglas Henderson

“I felt absolutely privileged to represent AFC Community Trust. The Trust are doing a tremendous job of involving the community(I don’t recall anything like this when I was a kid back in the 70’s & 80’s!) and everyone involved with the Trust should be very proud of themselves and what they are doing.” FFIT participant, Stephen Harvey

Ally Prockter, AFCCT Chief Executive praised the FFIT team’s efforts, “I am so proud of what these guys have achieved during the FFIT programme, and the way they have then supported AFC Community Trust in return.  Their half-time performances were brilliant on Saturday and I was still smiling about that bunch despite the final result.  Awesome effort by a group of great AFC fans!!”
