Two experienced former Dons have returned to the Club signing new deals with AFC Women ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
Natasha Bruce and Johan Fraser have both signed one-year agreements having left their previous club Dundee United.
Midfielder Natasha left the Dons in 2023 after a decade of wearing Aberdeen red. She started her career at East End which transitioned to Aberdeen Ladies, later becoming AFC Women in 2019. Over five seasons Natasha made 70 appearances for Aberdeen.
Johan Fraser, who will officially re-join the Club upon completion of a medical, followed a similar path as Natasha having started playing football at an early age Aberdeen Ladies and was part of the group that moved forward to become AFC Women.
The forward left the Dons in 2022 and later joined Dundee United. Over the course of four seasons she made 66 appearances and scored 10 goals.
Natasha and Johan are the only players of the current squad along with Chloe Gover that played in the very first AFC Women’s game against Inverness Caledonian Thistle in 2019.
Commenting on the new arrivals, AFC Women’s manager Colin Bell said: “Both Natasha and Johan are experienced players who bring with them not only knowledge of the league but also the standards expected here at Aberdeen.
“I look forward to working with them both as we continue to build the squad for the season ahead.”
