Further detail on Aberdeen Football Club’s plans to develop a community and sports campus, football academy and stadium on land at Kingsford will be revealed later this month.

An exhibition at Pittodrie on Thursday 24 November will provide an insight to the Club’s detailed plans for the training, community and stadium facilities that it aims to develop on the site, to create a focal point for footballing excellence and community engagement in sport for the north-east of Scotland.

The exhibition will also provide feedback on the public consultation events it staged in Aberdeen, Kingswells and Westhill in July and August.

The Club’s vision for Kingsford is to deliver essential training facilities, community facilities and a new stadium, which will support the ambitions of the Club, fans and AFC Community Trust. This will create a focal point for footballing excellence and public participation in sport for the region.

This is a significant project for the Club and AFC Community Trust, the city and the region. The Club has consulted extensively on its plans for the site. This has informed the preparation of the detailed planning application, which the Club intends to lodge by the end of the year. It is therefore important that the Club now shares its detailed proposals for this catalytic development and what it will deliver in sporting, social and economic terms with all interested parties.

The exhibition will run for 3pm to 9pm at the AAM Suite in the Richard Donald Stand at Pittodrie on Thursday 24 November. Access is via the Richard Donald Stand.

The exhibition materials will also be available to view on this site from 24 November.
