“The pitch is in good condition and there’s not been much football played on it so we’ve no complaints about the facilities.

“We believe in ourselves.

“Our preparation has been good and we just need to bring a level of performance tomorrow night that we’re capable of. If we reach our level it will give us a chance to get the positive result we want.

“We had some decent performances in this competition last season. For a lot of the players it was their first experience of European football so it should help them going in to this one. There’s different elements the boys will need to handle and hopefully we will be good enough on the day to get the result we’re looking for.

“They are technically a decent side and under a new coach. They have a way of playing, very similar to teams we come up against domestically but you can tell the heat is a factor. It might be a factor in the pace of the game. We need to play at a tempo that suits us.

“Everybody is good to go. Kenny was a wee concern but he trained Monday and Tuesday and came through no problems so is fit and available. Kenny has fitted in brilliantly with us. There is no doubting the boys’ quality and he is one of a few players who we’ve brought in the last six months who can bring something to the team.

“We’ve got competition all over the pitch. Quinn and Shinnie have come in and they want to play.

“We’ve got a full squad to choose from which gives me a good problem. I was keen to get that strength of squad in to the building. There’s decisions to be made throughout the team.”
