The Dons are well into the second day of their training camp in Tenerife. The players are all in good spirits and enjoying doing their work in such a good environment.

The training regime is similar to a pre-season camp with the players very much being put through their paces. They did a gruelling two and a half hour session yesterday and today did a double session in the sun.

The team are staying at the Sports Training Centre ‘Tenerife Top Training’ or T3 as it is known. It is one of the top training centres in Europe and offers training camps for a variety of team and individual sports.

There is a grass pitch, full size artificial surface, two clay and one hard tennis courts, three beach volleyball courts, a full running track, a number of gyms including an open-air one and all year-round heated swimming pools. The superb facilities have been used by Everton and Manchester City in recent years.

The management and players would like to thank all the staff at T3 for their assistance this week.
