Last week, AFC in the Community hosted a group from Cafe Coast and delivered a Teambuilding Workshop as part of their course

. Caf? Coast is an enterprise of Inspire Ventures Ltd which has been providing training and employment opportunities to people with learning disabilities and additional support needs. The day included classroom based motivational videos and discussions, followed by practical sporting activities focusing on effective communication skills.

Kelly Ho, Employment and Volunteer Co-ordinator at Inspire said, “The AFC in the Community staff were brilliant, really accommodating, and all the students thoroughly enjoyed their day and learnt a great deal about teamwork.”

Steven Sweeney, Senior Community Coach at AFC added, “We would like to thank Kelly Ho for bringing the group along to Pittodrie today. Football can be used to educate so many things, in this case teambuilding skills and effective communication. We are delighted that the group enjoyed themselves, and we hope to welcome them back to Pittodrie some other time.”
