Watch the first team train on the pitch before photo event
On Sunday 4th August we invite every supporter who has purchased the new home shirt to take part in this once in a lifetime opportunity to star in the AFC team photo.
And not only will you star in the biggest team photo, you will also be the FIRST fans to see the brand new Dons away kit – as modelled by the first team on the day. Once the team photo event is finished you will then be given the exclusive opportunity to purchase the new away kit before it officially goes on sale to the public on Monday 5th August at 9am.
The Richard Donald Stand turnstiles will open at 1pm and we encourage all supporters to arrive promptly. Please note, there will be no entry for anyone arriving later than 2.30pm.
And we’re delighted to announce the first team will be training on the pitch from 1.30pm so every supporter attending the photo will get the unique opportunity to watch the squad being put through their paces by the management team.
The photo is scheduled to kick off at 3pm, as soon as the management and first team have taken their seats. Before then there will be a host of entertainment on hand, including a demonstration from the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre, to amuse all the family with catering also available to purchase in the RDS Concourse.
Once the ‘BIGGER Biggest Team Photo’ has been captured the players will sign autographs for supporters as the brand new away kit officially goes on sale in our Club store and within retail units in the RDS Concourse.
Every supporter who participates in the photo will be entitled to one printed copy of the exclusive team photo. A voucher to claim your photo will be issued upon registration. Copies of the photo will be available for collection from the club store from Monday 26th August.
Important Notes for all supporters ahead of the event:
?It is vital that all those attending are wearing the new Dons home shirt and have their voucher which entitles them to be in the biggest team photo. Strictly no GK tops are allowed.
?The Club Store will be open from 9am until 1pm on Sunday 4th August where any last minute fans will be able to purchase the new shirt (and be given their voucher) to gain their place in the team photo, although we strongly recommend you buy your shirt before this date.
?The Club Store will re-open at 3.30pm, after the photograph has been completed, for supporters to purchase the new away kit. There will also be rapid retail units within the RDS Concourse selling the new away kit. This will enable us to efficiently serve a large volume of customers as quickly and as smoothly as possible. The shirt printing service will unfortunately not be available on this day.
?There will be a viewing area available for parents/guardians who wish to accompany their children but not be appearing in the photo themselves
