Betfred Cup Final | FAQ's

The Club can now confirm the ticketing process for our forthcoming Betfred Cup Final against Celtic at Hampden. Tickets will be made available based on the number of Loyalty Points that each supporter has built-up from July last year.   The Loyalty Points system is now in its third season and was designed specifically to deal with occasions such as this where there will be a high demand for tickets.   After careful consideration the Loyalty Point thresholds have been set at a level where we can guarantee supporters in Phase One and Phase Two a ticket for this match.

Supporters can of course add to their Loyalty Points total before tickets for the match go on sale by purchasing tickets for our forthcoming fixtures.   Supporters who fall short of the Loyalty Points total for Phase One and Phase Two can purchase a Mid-season ticket before Monday 7th November to guarantee their cup final ticket.   Pittodrie Chief Executive Duncan Fraser commented. “Having witnessed the numbers who travelled to Parkhead for the League Cup Final two years ago, we are well aware that demand will outstrip supply and the method of distribution will ensure that our supporters who have demonstrated their loyalty to the team will be able to attend.   “As stated earlier this week, we are content with the allocation the Club has received and indeed guaranteed the cost of the tickets allocated to strengthen our case for parity.”   ON SALE DATES

FAQ's

Why have the thresholds been set at those levels for Phase One, Two and Three?   After careful consideration the Loyalty Point thresholds have been set at a level where we can guarantee supporters in Phase One and Phase Two a ticket for this match. This has been done after taking into account the number of tickets that we have to sell and the short time period in which we have to sell the tickets.   Why can I only purchase 1 ticket per account?   Due to high demand, only one ticket will be allocated per account to ensure those who have built up Loyalty Points with the Club and qualify will get a seat at the final.  This process is put in place for all high demand matches. Each supporter should have their own unique account with their buying history detailed, for the vast majority of fans this is case.   How does the Loyalty Points system work?   At the start of the 2014/15 season we introduced a Loyalty Point scheme for Aberdeen supporters. Loyalty Points are awarded based on advance ticket purchases and are used to determine access to tickets for matches where there is high demand.   At the start of season 2016/17, points accrued during the 2014/15 season were dropped. Your Loyalty Points total will be made up of points from 2015/16 and 2016/17. For more information on our Loyalty Points scheme click here.   How can I add to my Loyalty Points?   Buying a mid-season ticket will give you 20 points and if purchased before 7pm on 7th November will guarantee you a ticket for the final.   Each Ladbrokes Premiership home and away game will give you 2 points and a seat on the AFC supporters bus gives you an additional 1 point.   Tickets are available for Celtic (H), Partick Thistle (A), St Johnstone (H), Kilmarnock (H) and Motherwell (H).   If you cannot commit to a mid-season ticket, we also have a 6-game package which is priced at £125. This gives access to 6 games of your choice throughout the season and entitles you to 12 Loyalty Points. The package is available in person from the Pittodrie Ticket Office or over the phone by calling 01224 63 1903.   How do I buy online?   To purchase tickets online you will need your client reference number, if you are purchasing tickets for other people make sure they are in your ‘friends & family’.   If you have any issues logging in online, please contact the Pittodrie Ticket Office on 01224 63 1903 or email [email protected].   I am part of a Supporter’s Club; how do I get a ticket for the Final?   Supporter’s Clubs will receive their confirmed allocation of tickets on Friday 4th November, for more information please contact the secretary of your Supporter’s Club.   Why are special delivery and collection the only methods available?   Hampden Park have a no re-print policy.
