Ashton Taylor spoke to RedTV before the side jetted off to Luxembourg for their Europa League First Qualifying Round Second Leg.
“They’re a good side and they showed what they’re capable of. They were very organised and it was hard for us to break them down at times, but I’m sure if we put in another good performance we will get the result we need. “I felt the two late goals were deserved. It shows what type of team we are, we never give up, always fight to the very end and always try and win the game so getting the two late goals was perfect for us. “I should be the club’s top goal scorer right now! Looking back on all of my chances I should have scored five! But, the two disallowed were disappointing as I thought they were legitimate goals. “Thankfully we did get two late goals and they obviously have made a big difference. It has made it a lot stronger in our favour, but we know going there that it is going to be a tough game and they are going to come at us. We need to be sensible and composed in how we approach the game. “We watched them before the first tie, we knew they had good results in the past and were aware they are a good side with a couple of good players who could hurt us, but they were probably a little better than we thought. We had done our homework though and expected a tough tie. “The squad is shaping up well. The gaffer is always looking for improvement in the starting eleven so he has brought in players who can compete for positions in the team. The squad is definitely stronger and everyone is looking forward to the competition. “We’ve added players to the squad that can compete for places. The more you play with each other, the more understanding you will gain as a unit so it is important for us to keep together as a group. “Everyone has settled in very well, it’s a good bunch of lads. It’s always nice to get new faces into the club and get a bit of freshness”
