Over 200 eager young fans donned their football boots yesterday as AFCCTs Soccer School got underway.

With the first and second week sold out well in advance the camp is now more popular than ever.

There are still some spaces available for weeks 3 and 4 of the camp at Balgownie Playing Fields as well as a variety of sessions running throughout Aberdeenshire over the course of the summer.

During the camp the children aged 6-16 will learn new football skills and improve their confidence whilst having fun in a safe environment. As with all the Aberdeen FC Community Trust coaching programmes, the emphasis will be on enjoyment learning new skills, meeting new friends and participating in many small sided games!
