Aberdeen FC is delighted to announce that our first Ladies Day event of the season will take place Saturday 15th October as we welcome Ross County to Pittodrie. This event is now firmly established in the social calendars of ladies in the City and the Club is donating all monies raised on the day to be shared equally between two worthy local charities.
AFC Community Trust is the football club’s official partner charity, working with local communities ‘to provide support and opportunity.’ Participants aged from 3 to 93+ benefit from a wide range of activities addressing issues including health & wellbeing, disability, social inclusion and dementia. AFCCT works with many local charities, delivering 70,000+ participations yearly.
Aberdeen Foyer will be the guest beneficiary charity as we bring a touch of glamour to the match-day experience. A successful local social enterprise, the Foyer helps people build confidence and develop skills and talents to make major changes in their lives. They provide supported accommodation to former homeless and at risk young people alongside a range of education, training, mentoring, counselling, employment support and health improvement services for people of all ages.
Our VIP Ladies Day attendees will enjoy pink champagne and cocktails on arrival, a delicious three course meal with wine and of course, the chance to win many exciting prizes that have been generously donated by our Ladies Day partners. There is also the opportunity to meet and mingle with the first team players, so ‘dress to impress’ and support not only your local club, but local charities.
