Aberdeen FC is delighted to announce that our second Ladies Day event of the season will take place on Saturday 11th March as we welcome Motherwell to Pittodrie. This event is now firmly established in the social calendars of ladies in the City and the Club is donating all monies raised on the day to be shared equally between two worthy local charities including Aberdeen FC Community Trust.
AFC Community Trust is the football club’s official partner charity, working with local communities ‘to provide support and opportunity.’ Participants aged from 3 to 93+ benefit from a wide range of activities addressing issues including health & wellbeing, disability, social inclusion and dementia. AFCCT works with many local charities, delivering 70,000+ participations yearly.
Alzheimer’s Research UK will be the guest beneficiary charity as we bring a touch of glamour to the match-day experience. As a charity whose vision is to create a world free from the fear, harm and heartbreak of dementia. Alzheimer’s Research UK funds pioneering research that will make a real difference to people’s lives – now and in the future.
Our VIP Ladies Day attendees will enjoy pink champagne and cocktails on arrival, a delicious three course meal with wine and of course, the chance to win many exciting prizes that have been generously donated by our Ladies Day partners. There is also the opportunity to meet and mingle with the first team players, so ‘dress to impress’ and support not only your local club, but local charities.
