In a special interview on RedTV, Theo Snelders and Paul Mason look back at the 1989/90 season. Midfielder Mason helped the Dons win the 1989 League Cup, with two goals in a famous 2-1 win over Rangers in the final. Later that season, Theo was the hero as his save in the penalty shootout against Celtic in the final led Alex Smith and Jocky’s team to Scottish Cup glory as well. The former players look back at both cup runs that season and also reflect on their time at Pittodrie during the late 80s and early 90s.
