PurpleTV with the assistance of RedTV are producing a documentary for BBC ALBA in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Aberdeen FC’s triumph in Gothenburg, beating Real Madrid to win the European Cup Winners Cup.

The film is looking to focus on the fans that shared the journey with the players and the production company are keen to find any footage shot by fans themselves while travelling to Gothenburg, anything filmed before and after the game, and also film taken in the city of Aberdeen and at Pittodrie on the team’s return with the trophy.

We are also keen to speak with fans that went to Gothenburg – or who remember the celebrations in the Aberdeen following the win. We are particularly interested in speaking to female fans.
