Nicolas Milanovic signed a pre-contract agreement with the Dons after the club agreed an undisclosed fee with Australian A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers in May 2025. With an eye for a goal during his time down under, the Aussie impressed with his dynamic performances for Wanderers, netting 12 times and creating six from 25 league matches. He made his Dons debut at the start of the 2025/26 William Hill Premiership season against Hearts at Tynecastle Park. Nicolas also has two caps for Australia, making his Socceroos debut against New Zealand in September 2025.
