The Swedish joined The Dons in August 2025 from Swedish side IFK Värnamo on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee. The left-sided winger, whose family are originally from Bosnia, had been part of the IFK Värnamo squad for the past three years, and spent the end of season 24/25 on loan at Skövde AIK. Kenan made his Aberdeen debut in August 2025, coming off the bench in a William Hill Premiership match against Falkirk at Pittodrie, he scored his first Dons goal against Kilmarnock in December 2025.
