Kjartan Már Kjartansson was The Dons fifth signing of the 2025 summer window, joining from Stjarnan on a four-year contract.
Kjartan had already played 58 games for Stjarnan’s first-team before his arrival, he made his senior debut against ÍBV in August 2022, just 45 days after his sixteenth birthday.
He has also collected more than 20 youth international caps across various age groups for Iceland. The midfielder made his Dons debut against Celtic away from home on the 21st December 2025.
